Marked by the seismic societal shift for women, the world’s leading beauty brand, L’Oréal Paris hosted the “Worth It Show” — a nod to the brand’s empowering “We’re Worth It” slogan — at the 2018 PFDC L’Oréal Paris Bridal Week (PLBW’18).

The “Worth It Show” was introduced earlier this year by L’Oréal Paris at the Cannes International Film Festival 2018, and was broadcast live globally. Through its unique public agora, L’Oréal Paris opened up a conversation about and on women empowerment; a powerful moment during the Cannes International Film Festival to bring women’s voices to all and to unveil the woman behind the actresses, with their stories, their triumphs and their obstacles on the way to feeling “worth it”.

L’Oréal Paris introduced a flavor of this ethos at the PLBW’18 with local L’Oréal Paris Spokespersons Mahira Khan and Mehreen Syed, who captivated and moved audiences with their stories, journey and road to women empowerment in Pakistan.

Speaking at the show, L’Oréal Paris Hair Care spokesperson Mahira Khan said:

“I strongly believe that empowering women with better education, being sensitive towards their wellbeing, health, happiness, ensuring equal opportunities and respecting their rights will go a long way in transforming Pakistan. Here’s to all women knowing that they truly are worth it!”

Supermodel and L’Oréal Paris Spokesperson Mehreen Syed said:

“I feel lucky in life to be associated with a brand like L’Oréal which genuinely believes in empowering women worldwide to feel confident to control their own lives through education, employment and economic uplift. This year’s ‘Beauty For A Better Life’ program will enable 500 women from underprivileged socio-economic background including women who are challenged by physical disabilities to gain free of cost beauty training, provide employment opportunities and regain their self-esteem.

Speaking on the occasion, Musharaf Hai, the Managing Director of L’Oréal Pakistan said: “Speaking on the occasion, L’Oréal Pakistan’s Managing Director, Musharaf Hai said: “L’Oréal believes in universal values of beauty – hence every woman is Worth It. 2018 marked a historic moment of L’Oréal Pakistan’s first entry into Cannes Film Festival with our Hair Care Spokesperson Mahira Khan.
