Mövenpick Hotel Karachi organised an Italian Food promotion in collaboration with the Italian Consulate in Karachi at La Mamma Restaurant recently.

The food festival was inaugurated on 23rd November 2017 and will continue till 3rd December 2017 with a signature menu prepared exclusively for the event by renowned Italian cooking expert, Fabrizia Panzani.

Mövenpick Hotel Karachi has always strived to provide authentic flavours from various parts of the world to its guests. To continue to provide the highest level of culinary delights, the hotel recently collaborated with renowned Italian cooking expert, Fabrizia Panzani.

The Italian Food festival was inaugurated on the evening of 23rd November by Italian Consul General, Dr. Gianluca Rubagotti along with Mirza Mansoor, General Manager of Mövenpick Hotel Karachi.

It was a beautifully organised sit-down dinner with a scrumptious fare prepared exclusively for the invitees by Fabrizia for the inauguration. Italian artwork had also been set up at the entrance of La Mamma which added to the overall ambience.

Towards the end of the evening Fabrizia addressed the guests and spoke about the festival, and how excited she was to serve her Pakistani friends a taste of her homeland.

Fabrizia Panzani was born in the part of Italy famous for its traditional flavours, Modena. Through her culinary efforts, she wants to spread the love of Italian cuisine all across the world. She has been living in the Asia Pacific for the past 20 years.

The cooking expert has organised various courses for the budding Chefs to train them. She has also taught many specialty Chefs who have taken Italian cuisine as their focal cuisine. Her teachings are not only restricted to Asia but everywhere that she has travelled from Singapore to Australia.

She has collaborated with Executive Chef of Mövenpick Hotel Karachi to create a menu consisting of authentic Italian dishes from various parts of the country. The idea behind introducing a separate menu for this festival was to introduce the guests to a host of Italian delicacies.
